With Elton you can plan the optimal route, start and stop charging with your phone, and easily pay by card or Vipps. Across operators. This is how Elton makes everyday life as an EV driver smarter and easier.

We in Elton believe that the most important thing about an EV app is ease of use across all operators, and to be tailored to your individual needs. Our job is not to build stations or sell electricity, but to make your trip a comfortable experience.

That's why we've made a smarter app that provides overview of chargers, suggests routes based on your criteria, controls chargers and lets you pay by the push of a button.

Find the best route for your trip

Avoid "battery anxiety" and waste of time. Type in where you're going in the route planer, and we'll calculate where and how much you should charge to reach your destination as soon as possible. Tailored to your car of course.

At this point, you may add different criteria for the suggested stations, such as a toilet or cafe nearby. That way, you'll also be able to spend the wait time doing something you want.

If you only want to see what chargers are nearby you can check the map or look at a list of the closest stations. Of course you'll see information regarding price, charging speeds and nearby facilities for each charger.

Charge and pay with your phone - everywhere

How annoying isn't it to have a gazillion apps – one for each charge point operator? And that the procedure for charging is different in every one?

You charge the same way at all of Elton's partners:

Insert the charger into the car, and scan the QR code on the charging pole in the app. Or choose the charger from a list in the app. Charging starts, and you can monitor the charging in real time. Stop the charging in the app and eject the charger.

To pay, add a payment card the first time you charge, which functions automatically after that. Or you can pay by Vipps.

Away with a gazillion apps, RFID chips and registering a card every time you're going to charge.

Four tips to get the best Elton experience

Connect your car to Elton. Most car makes support that you log in with your car account in Elton, connecting the app and your car. Then you'll be able to see precise consumption and charging in real time, receive the most precise route suggestions, and our navigation system will continuously adapt to your current state of charge.
Make every charging as seamless as possible. Activate automatic start on the screen that shows up when you're about to start charging. That way, you don't have to confirm every time you want to start a charging session. By adding payment card, the process is even faster. We'll admit it's more of a hassle to add your card than paying by Vipps, but when it's done you'll have the most seamless experience ever. Just do it once, and it's done forever.
Add more criteria to the route planner. When our algorithm suggests a route, it finds the fastest routes under normal prerequisites. However, if you have connected a trailer or there's snow on the road, that affects the range of the car. Or do you prefer we don't show stops not compatible with Elton yet? How about combining a charging session with a meal? This, and more, is easily changed under "more options".
Charging plans. Charging a lot on the go? Then you might have considered a package deal which some operators offer. With Elton's Charging Plans, you can save from NOK 450 to NOK 2750. No subscription term, freedom to charge at whichever operator you prefer, and available in different sizes.
