Four tips for getting the ultimate Elton experience

At Elton, we believe that the most important aspect of a good EV app is being easy to use across all charging operators and being adapted to your individual needs. Our job isn't to build stations and sell electricity, but to make your journey a good experience.

1. Connect your car to Elton.

With most car manufacturers, you can log into your Elton account to connect the app and your car. This allows you to see exact consumption and charging in real-time, and you get the most precise route suggestions.

2. Make each charging session as smooth as possible.

Activate auto-charging on the screen that appears when you start charging, so you don't have to confirm every time you've scanned a QR code. By adding a payment card, the payment process becomes even faster. We'll admit that it's a bit more hassle to add a card than to pay with Vipps, but once it's done, you'll get the smoothest experience ever. Just do it once, and it's done.

3. Add more criteria to the route planner.

When our algorithm suggests a route, it gives you the fastest route under normal conditions. But if you're driving with a trailer or there's snow on the road, it affects the car's range. Or do you want us to only suggest charging stops where you can charge with Elton? How about combining charging and food stops? This, and more, can be adjusted using the "More options" button.

4. Discount on every charge.

Do you charge frequently on the road? With the Elton discount, you can get a full 6% discount on every charge, regardless of charging operator! The more you charge, the more discount you get, so remember to choose Elton when paying for charging.
